In 2007, I traveled from my home in outback Australia to Florence in Italy to exhibit at the Biennale dell’Arte Contemporanea. I was honored to win 5th place for paintings from such an amazing collection of wonderful artworks from around the world. The experience of meeting so many talented artists from so many countries was an experience I will never forget and I hope to return to Florence one day again!
I paint Australia and the colors of our bright and bold landscape. I just love the Australian bush! Big eucalyptus trees with those amazing painted barks! Wonderful blossoms, colorful leaves! It’s always so good to go out and fall in love with nature all over again! The fresh air, the clean feel of ‘forest’ as the beautiful trees breathe out oxygen to replenish the planet resonates deep within my soul. I hope by painting the forest and the landscape, I can inspire many city dwellers to ‘think’ about nature and our connection to it. I hope I can help people to once again ‘love’ this place we call home but which we ‘trash’ daily and carelessly in so many ways.
Take a walk through paintings and just enjoy them…..
